Aeropress · Inverted

Immersion

Small, weird, brilliant.

AeroPress being pressed down over a cup, coffee extraction complete — Lot | 23 AeroPress brew guide

The Aeropress looks like a hospital plunger and brews like a chef. Inverted means you flip it upside down so nothing drips until you flip it back — which lets you control the steep the way you would a French press, then finish it fast under pressure.

It is the traveller brewer. Fits in a bag. Forgiving. Fast. Makes something between a filter and an espresso — concentrated but clean.

The grind is the dial. Too coarse and it is watery. Too fine and it fights you on the press.
